SISTEMI A COSTI CONTENUTI

  • Microclima favorevole in qualsiasi stagione

CONTROLLO AUTOMATICO DELL'UMIDITA'
Grazie a speciali apparecchiature come termostati, igrostati e timers è possibile mantenere le condizioni ambientali desiderate, durante l'intera giornata in modo automatico, indipendentemente dalle condizioni climatiche esterne.

VANTAGGI

Fresh produces humidification with Misting

Our misting system re-establishes to optimal values the humidity level, blocking dehydration process, keeping the freshness of food for longer time

Our misting system periodically emit an ultra light mist of water directly onto the product, usually for 1 to 5 seconds every 10-15 minutes. Due to their teeny dimensions, these small water droplets evaporate without wetting, keeping humidity and coolness in the environment air, reducing dehydration and maintaining product weight and condition.

weight loss: -95% longer freshness reduced dehydration

FRUIT AND VEGETABLES
Fruit and vegetables are largely composed of water. The loss of freshness is mainly due to a quick dehydration of the product, further to the evaporation of the water. Water evaporates, due to a difference between its values contained into the vegetables and in the surrounding air. By means of a misting system, the humidity level in the air re-establishes its optimal values, blocking the dehydration process. Additionally, a misting system, following the adiabatic principle, reduces the temperatures and cools the products displayed at the counters.

FISH PRODUCTS
Fish products are also subjects to the loss of freshness by dehydration, as they are composed of water in the measure higher than 70%. Moreover, the misting system can control the spread of smells in the surrounding areas. Misting system can be easily assembled inside refrigerated displays.

MEAT
Some types of meat and cold cuts are subjects to dehydration, too: our fog systems can restore naturally their suitable special microclimate, to preserve or keep seasoning them. Misting system can be easily assembled inside refrigerated displays.

BENEFITS
  • Dehydration block
  • Decrease in the weight loss of the product
  • Longer freshness
  • The temperature cools naturally down
  • It facilitates the process of ripeness of some kinds of fruit
  • It controls the spread of odors

Textile industry humidification with Misting

The yarns, until the transformation in tissue, must balance their own moisture and that contained in the surrounding air. A lack of moisture in the air is unpleasantly noticeable. Non air-conditioned factories or with a different humidification system frequently encounter production difficulties during embroidery, weaving and spinning yarns due to breakage and high static electricity levels.

The American Institute of Textile Technology found that wool, by increasing relative humidity from 60 to 70% during storage and processing, shows a 15% increase of its elasticity, which drastically reduces breakage during processing. Adjusting humidity levels with a misting system increases the tensile strength of all natural fibers, removes static electricity improving the workability of the yarns and fibers, controls the suspended residual and improves comfort of work areas.

Water is sprayed under pressure by special patented nozzles capable of generating very fine droplets, of less than 10 microns, which are immediately absorbed by the air without wetting surfaces and objects below. The results are significant: low cost of installation and operation, immediately effective.

HUMIDITY AND YARN PROPERTIES
Water is an important part of yarns weight. About 7% of dry cotton weight is made by water, in a dry synthetic yarn such as Nylon it is 2-3%. The specific weight of wool is made by water up to 18%

STATIC ELECTRICITY
It is well known in the textile industry that the relative humidity, and hence the moisture regain (content) of textile fiber plays a very important role int the reduction of static electricity. Virtually all textile fibers, when completely dry, have very high electrical resistances. However, as the relative humidity increases, the fibers absorb moisture and their electrical resistance decreases with a consequent reduction electrostatic charges generation.

DUST CONTROL
Water is an important part of yarns weight. About 7% of dry cotton weight is made by water, in a dry synthetic yarn such as Nylon it is 2-3%. The specific weight of wool is made by water up to 18%

EFFECTIVE SOLUTION FOR:

  • Dry nose and eyes, burning irritation, pain
  • Danger of infection, dry nostrils are very sensitive
  • Creates headache after light dehydration
  • Enhances evaporation and suspension of solvents, paints and glues
  • High concentration of airborne dust
  • Static Electricity
  • Frequent stoppages for repeated failure

Paper and Press industry humidification with Misting

Paper production, such as its storage, benefits from environment control.

The paper-based products gain and lose moisture rapidly: for this reason a properly stabilized humidity level is crucial to obtain an excellent steady quality final product. A proper humidity level is very important to the entire printing process. As far as paper, board and other cellulose-based products, the best climate is 20-21°C and a relative humidity moving from 50% to 55%.

HUMIDITY IN WINTER MONTHS
Heating and heat produced by machinery themselves create, during winter months mainly, critical levels of humidity in the environment and consequently serious complications to the manufacturing process.

BENEFITS

  • Increased output speed
  • Removal of static electricity
  • Minimization of scraps and downtime
  • Reduction in curl and deformations
  • Improvement in quality folding mechanical process
  • Improvement in flexibility and dimensional stability
  • Better ink transfer
  • Dust reduction

Wood industry humidification with Misting

Wood manufacturing, such as its storage, benefits from environment control.

Wood is a hygroscopic material, that absorbes or releases water depending on the relative humidity. In high relative humidity conditions, wood absorbes humidity, until obtaining the same level of the surrounding air. During the 2/3rds of the year, the relative humidity is insufficient for manufacturing and varnishing processes.

WOOD FIBERS MOISTURE LEVELS
Misting systems maintain the proper moisture content inside the wood fibers and efficiently reduce many of the quality problems associated with woodworking, preventing: shrinkage, swelling, deformations, splits and cracks. These situations are caused by different humidity values, varnish diffusion problems, static electricity and dust.

A relative humidity in the measure of 50-55% RH is of great importance:

BENEFITS

  • The dimensions of wood hold steady
  • Manufacturing process is more efficient
  • Increase in processing speed
  • Increase in tool life
  • Shorter production stops
  • Dust reduction

Tobacco humidification with Misting

Tobacco leaf post-harvest is of great importance due to the product acquiring added value.

There have been many problems during harvesting, curing, storing and packaging of tobacco, thereby reducing final product quality and leading to economic losses.
Tobacco humidifying systems involving our misting units are controlled by electronic humidistats and timers with digital humidity sensors that maintains optimal and homogeneous humidity levels, ensuring better water use, better control of relative humidity and better control in managing cured tobacco leaf moisture content, resulting in improved final product quality and ensuring production efficiency.

There is no need for gas-fired steam generatorors, air compressors or evaporative pad-coolers. Installation requires an electrical power supply and mains water.
The right humidity level, usually between 55% and 75% RH offers as a result a better product quality with minimum downtime and production waste, it also reduces the risk of losses due to manipulation and over-humidification, increasing profits.

HUMIDITY AND TOBACCO PROPERTIES
Water is an important part of tobacco leafs. 55% to 75% relative humidity and 4 to 6 hour working ranges can be easily obtained to ensure leaf humidification reaches 16% moisture content on a wet basis.

HOMOGENEOUS HUMIDITY LEVEL
Traditional humidification systems are not able to provide homogeneous humidity conditions. Many times we discovered that humidification was inadequate, mainly because the barn had only one humidifier providing a limited coverage area, with consequent lack of uniform relative humidity causing high humidification of the product located in its vicinity and having virtually no effect on product located away from the device.

TOBACCO PROCESSING AND HUMIDITY
Typical environment conditions required for most common tobacco processing phases are typically between 20 and 24 °C, 55 and 75% RH. Recommended storage conditions are around 24 °C with 70 to 75% r.H. See also ASHRAE charts about other tobacco processing phases. Tobacco reacts in few hours to changes in humidity and temperature levels thus requiring a reliable humidity control. Tobacco leaves, cut tobacco and paper are hygroscopic materials, they lose their moisture content when the air is too dry, and it rapidly deteriorates with extremely high humidity levels.

CIGARETTES MANUFACTURING
Tobacco and paper are hygroscopic materials, they lose their moisture when the air is too dry. Dry air degrades tobacco properties resulting in shrinkage, brittleness, splitting and weight loss. The right humidity level avoids tobacco to fall out of cigarettes and papers to misfeed on cigarette manufacturing machines.

BENEFITS

  • Prevents dehydration of leaves
  • Leaves do not lose flexibility making processing easier and faster
  • Leaf spines remain dry and brittle
  • Leaves don’t crumble reducing loss and saving profits
  • Reduces paper misfeeds on cigarette manufacturing machines
  • Low energy systems with easy configuration and maintenace
  • Uniform humidity levels withot wetting
  • Simple and reliable RH controllers
  • Easy and modular installation from small to large warehouses

Theater, Opera and Performing Arts humidification with Misting

Dry air in a theater is uncomfortable for singers, actors and audiences.

A “comfort zone” humidity level must be obtained to prevent dryness of the mouth and other vocal annoyances during live performances. In addition to overall ambient comfort, a theater misting system helps to reduce the dust in the air that can be annoying to actors, dancers and singers.

OVERALL COMFORT
Adequate air humidity makes the environment more confortable and protects the respiratory tract ensuring that actors, singers, dancers and musicians feel good in their workplace.

THE RIGHT HUMIDITY LEVEL
Creating the right environment is a rigorous process. Nozzles must not be visible, and residual water droplets must be avoided. Because every theater is unique, we work with the managers to maintain the best humidity level for the audience, the performers, and the patrons.

EFFECTIVE SOLUTION FOR:

  • Weak and unclear voices
  • Dry nose, mouth and eyes, burning irritation, pain
  • High concentration of airborne dust
  • Keeping the correct moisture level in wooden floors and furniture
